The Staff and Management at Nottawasaga Mechanical are beyond proud to sponsor the 3rd annual charity event for Oscar’s Place – a Rehabilitation and Wellness Centre for Children. This Community Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place at Cranberry Golf Course in Collingwood on July 3, 2025 and promises to be a day of fun!

The Oscar’s Place tournament aims to raise money to give back to local families who require additional support for their children with complex needs. Oscar’s Place is a remarkable organization that offers a wide range of rehabilitative services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and mental health services. This family bursary is just another way in which they are trying to make lives easier. The collaborative approach and genuine hearts behind Oscar’s Place are what makes them so incredibly special!

Why Oscar’s Place?

As parents of a special little boy, Oscar’s Place owners, Lana and Oscar Roman learned first hand that there is very limited access to privately funded rehabilitation services for children north of Toronto. Lana’s background as a physiotherapist combined with her passion for paediatric rehabilitation fueled the creation of Oscar’s Place. A place created not only for their son, but for all children who may need some extra help along the way.
